Pela primeira vez, este ano, nos meses de julho e agosto, o Instituto Politécnico de Santarém irá organizar um curso de verão, composto por dois módulos de ensino, em que um deles (obrigatório) é de ensino de Língua e Cultura Portuguesa (com um total de 30 horas de lecionação).
O curso será lecionado em língua inglesa, mas será privilegiado o desenvolvimento das competências linguísticas (em português) dos formandos (cf. comunicação a seguir transcrita).

I am very pleased to announce the first IP Santarém Summer Course that will take place this year, in two editions (20-29 july and 17-26 august).
This will be an exciting opportunity to learn and meet new friends, on the sunniest country in Europe. In 10 days, you'll be able to discover Portugal’s central region, defined by CNN recently as a «largely undiscovered array of treasures»: http://edition.cnn.com/2015/04/09/travel/travel-central-portugal/index.html?hpt=travel_hp_herobox
The course will take place in Santarém and Rio Maior, and its program is a great blend of language learning, specific skills development, interaction with teachers and international students, great trips and fun!
The IPSantarém Summer Course includes 2 modules:
1. Portuguese language and culture (30 hours);
2. One of the following four modules (15 hours each):
a) Health and Food
b) Viticulture and Animal Production
c) Fitness and Outdoor Sports
d) Entrepreneurship
The Portuguese language and culture module has been designed as a preparation for those who want to proceed their studies in Portugal (e.g. «Erasmus +» semester) or just learn a new language.
In addition to the studies, participants of IPSantarém Summer Course will benefit from several cultural and social activities, that include city tours, trips to the beach, etc.
Every student will get a certificate and 3 ECTS upon approval on the course, that may be added to his/her learning agreement.
Application deadline: 17th May 2015.
Registration fee: 650 euros.
This fee includes all the course activities and materials, accommodation and all meals at the IPSantarém facilities. It is definitely a great price for so much fun!
