Co-ordination units for Teaching Portuguese Abroad (by country)

It is Camões, I.P.’s responsibility to co-ordinate the teaching of the Portuguese language and culture overseas and to induce interaction between the various levels and methods of teaching whilst encouraging the adoption of Portuguese as part of the school curriculum, particularly in countries with Portuguese-speaking communities.

Based at Portuguese embassies and consulates around the world, the Portuguese language teaching services are directed at the network of professionals teaching Portuguese abroad. They provide logistical support for the teaching of the Portuguese language and culture.
